Yes, currently accepting clients for fall of 2026. Evenings and weekends available.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. I do however working with families on a sliding scale fee.

Do you offer free parking?

Yes, parking at my office is free and very easy to find!

Do you offer family systems work?

Yes, inviting family into the clients session is always welcomed after established relationship has formed between myself and the youth.

What do sessions look like?

Typically for children it takes a bit of time for them to land, adjust to a new space and gather themselves. To help with that I offer a very structured start to our sessions (breathing exercises, emotion check in, and choice offerings). Once we are in the groove our session together it looks explorative, creative, caring, and supportive. I use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practice, play therapy and family therapy as my main evidenced based modalities of practice.

How is the family brought into therapy?

Within the first month of therapy I will offer a session for just the parents or guardians where we work on the child’s treatment plan and goals the family unit has in mind for the child. We will revisit the goals every 3 months and adjust as needed.

What are you credentials and what is your experience?

I have my LCSW from the State of Maine. I graduated from the University of New England; school of social work in 2010. I have been a school social worker for over 10 years. I collaborate with staff, families, students and community members to ensure all students have access to learning and basic needs. I believe in remaining strengths based, client centered and empowering the individual so that trust can be built and shifts within self can occur.
